Empties #1

November Empties
L'Oréal - Tea Tree - Soap&Glory
St. Moriz - Radiance - Lemony Flutter

This is my first ever empties post and to be honest, I actually have way too many empties for just one post. I've had to take half of them out and use them in a future one. I had to get the photos taken as soon as I could because I had empty bottles and tubs everywhere and believe me, it wasn't very pretty.

The L'Oréal 3 in 1 Skin Purifying Micellar Solution is one of my new holy grail products. Although I haven't tried any other micellar waters, I don't think I would change. I'm just so used to this one. I've already repurchased this and I will be repurchasing it again! If you're interested, I did a review on it here
I've had the tea tree deep cleansing facial wash for over a year! It literally lasted me super long. I didn't use it a lot though, I only used it when I felt my skin needed it. I honestly found this a really good product and my face felt so nice and clean afterwards. There was two major downfalls though. Firstly, the product was quite watery, a bit too watery for a face mask. But it does dry in hard enough after a few minutes. Secondly, the top of the tube got disgustingly full of dried up product that the lid wouldn't even close, and it was so hard to clean off. I wouldn't repurchase this again.
Soap & Glory flake away body scrub. I know everybody loves this but I honestly didn't like it that much! It just didn't work for me personally. Maybe because I didn't use it every time I showered, but the times I did use it, it just didn't give me the results I was expecting. Maybe my expectations were too high. Unfortunately, I wouldn't repurchase this again in a hurry.

The St. Moriz self tan will always be my go-to tan for as long as it's around. It's cheap and it works just as well as any other tan. Of course there is better tan's on the market, but for the price of St. Moriz the quality is perfect. I've got about three half full bottles around the house, but I'll still repurchase it again, and again, and again!
Radiance by Britney Spears was one of my first ever perfumes. My Mum bought it for me as a gift a few years back and I loved it. I've since received another bottle but I don't wear it as much any more. I wouldn't buy this for myself, but I wouldn't mind receiving it all the same!
I bought the infamous Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter at the start of my college year, last year. I did a review of it here. (Old posts like this make me cringe, but we all started somewhere, hey?) I loved it from the moment I started using it. I forgot all about it a few months after buying it and I only found it a while ago - out of date. It's such a shame because I still want to use this, but I can't. Sad times! I don't know if I'd repurchase it again because it's quite pricey for the little tub, but it does work wonders.

So there you have it! Six of my current empties. I want to try do an 'Empties' regularly, depending on what empties I have and when I have them. Hopefully these kinds of posts are interesting to read! I personally love reading other peoples empties. I get to see which products they thought were good and bad and what they would buy again. Hopefully you can take some information from this post for yourself.

Have you tried any of these before?
What's on your empties list?

Christmas Gift Guide Series #2 - Dad

1 Million Set // Watch // Christmas Jumper // Tablet Case // Design Your Own Mug // Love/Hate Box Set

On to part two of the 'Gift Guide Series', have a look at part one here if you're interested. Part two is all about Dads, granddads or whoever you want these kinds of gifts to be for. I hope this post - along with part one, can help you all out in some way.

The Paco Rabanne 1 Million 50ml Eau de Toilette Christmas Gift Set was number one on my list of gifts for my Dad. It's the best scent for a man, ever. Trust me, it's fab! I don't mind smelling it off my Dad! I chose the gift set because it's the same price as just the one bottle alone but in the set you get the same size bottle and a shower gel.

My Dad has been looking for a watch for ages and I honestly don't know what kind of watches he likes, but I seen this gorgeous Invicta Mako Pro Diver Automatic Mens Watch 8926 on ebay the other day and it's not that expensive! If you're looking for a watch for Dad, have a look on ebay, they have so many to choose from.

Christmas jumpers aren't a thing we ever get in my household. I see so many people with pictures of their families in Christmas jumpers, so I'm taking matters into my own hands to get my family some Christmas jumpers this year. The Red Squeak Nose Reindeer Jumper from River Island is ridiculously overpriced but ridiculously amazing! It has a squeaky nose! You squeeze it and it squeaks, what?! I think that's a great idea.

As most of you probably know by now, tablets, iPads and all sorts of new technology are all a mans new best friend - dogs get out of the way! The 360° Rotating Cases are great for iPads and tablets alike. You can get some others as cheap as chips on ebay, but sometimes it's good to have a sturdy case for such an expensive little thing!

The Design Your Own Mug is quite expensive but it's such a great idea! You probably could get it done a lot cheaper elsewhere. You can put anything on the cup, pictures or text or both. I think a personalised mug for your Dad would be a lovely gift.

Lastly the Love/Hate Box Set. Obviously this show might not be up your street but it's definitely up mine! I could watch it all over and over again. But you can get your parents any box set that they like, or maybe something new that they might enjoy. A box set is always a great present for your Dad, mine loves watching movies!

Part two out of the way, how close are we to Christmas guys?! I really hope this helps anybody who needed a few little ideas. Of course there's so many more things you could get for your Dads as well as what's on my list! And remember (same case as the Mums post) - it's the thought that counts if you can't afford big expensive presents, don't get into a fret about it, explore your options and see what you can do, something will work out.

What are you going to get your Dad for Christmas?
